McDermott, BHGE grab West African LNG job

Engineering company McDermott International and Baker Hughes, a GE company, have been contracted by BP for its Tortue/Ahmeyim field development on the maritime border of Mauritania and Senegal that will include an FLNG facility.

Cheniere to build third berth at Sabine Pass LNG plant

Houston-based liquefied natural gas export player, Cheniere, has set the wheels in motion for the construction of the third marine berth at its Sabine Pass LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

ICE develops new small-scale LNG carrier concept

International Contract Engineering (ICE), the Isle of Man-based ship design company, said it had developed a small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier concept.

LNG shipper Golar said its FLNG Hilli Episeyo located offshore Kribi in Cameroon started producing liquefied natural gas (LNG).
