WoodMac expects 2019 to be LNG FID year

The year 2019 could be a major one for final investment decisions (FID) on new liquefied natural gas projects, according to the research and consultancy group Wood Mackenzie.

NextDecade Corporation said it has been granted a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for its Rio Grande LNG project in South Texas.
