Mozambique, Eni ink LNG supply deal with BP

Italy’s Eni and Mozambique have signed a 20-year deal with UK-based BP for the supply of liquefied natural gas from the Coral FLNG project, moving the project further forward.

Shell to fuel Carnival’s LNG cruise ships

The Hague-based Shell signed an agreement with Carnival Corporation to supply liquefied natural gas to fuel the latter’s two LNG-fueled cruise ships, due to start operating in northwest Europe and the Mediterranean in 2019.

Total-led consortium to build LNG terminal in Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast on Tuesday signed a contract to set up a consortium led by Total in order to build an FSRU-based LNG import terminal to cover the demand for electricity generation.

German giant Volkswagen charters LNG-fueled car carriers

The Volkswagen Group, one of the world’s largest car manufacturers, on Wednesday, said that from 2019 onwards it will use two LNG-fueled vessels chartered from Siem Car Carriers to transport vehicles between Europe and North America.

Amec Foster Wheeler awarded Ichthys LNG consultancy job

Amec Foster Wheeler informed on Monday it has been awarded a consultancy job by Inpex, for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia.
