Japan to slash LNG imports by 2030

Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry revealed that the country plans to cut its dependence on fossil fuels in its energy mix which would result in the decrease of LNG imports.

Amec Foster Wheeler wins Zeebrugge LNG expansion job

Amec Foster Wheeler has been awarded an engineering contract by Felguera IHI, a Duro Felguera Group company, for the expansion of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal in Belgium.

Nine Dynagas carriers chartered for Yamal LNG

Dynagas Holding, the sponsor of Dynagas LNG Partners, said that it has entered into long-term time charter agreements for five ARC7 and four ARC4 carriers for the giant Yamal LNG project.

Moody’s worried about Inpex cost overruns

Credit rating agency Moody’s said it has changed its outlook on Japan’s Inpex to negative from stable.
