Turkmenistan to Continue Collaboration with Iran and Russia in Energy Sector

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed his country’s determination to continue cooperation with Iran and Russia in the energy sector.

The president stressed that it is important to ensure supplying gas to the foreign markets in the volumes stipulated by the agreements signed with Iran and Russia, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.

“First of all, it is necessary to ensure natural gas extraction for the domestic market and supply to the foreign markets in the volumes stipulated upon the signed contracts,” the president said.

Berdimuhamedov outlined to continue working with Russia and Iran upon the signed contracts.
