Video: Höegh LNG launches tenth FSRU

Norway-based floating LNG giant Höegh LNG launched its tenth floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in South Korea.

The vessel, that as can be seen in the video will be named Höegh Galleon, will have a storage capacity of 170,000 cubic meters, featuring GTT’s Mark III membrane technology.

The FSRU is 297m long and 43m wide and will have a maximum regasification capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day.

It is scheduled for delivery during the second quarter of 2019.

Höegh LNG held the keel laying ceremony for the vessel in May while the launching of the vessel seen in the video has been completed on July 13.
