The Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal in Belgium booked a series of cargoes in May.

The first two vessels are scheduled to arrive at the Zeebrugge facility on Friday, May 17.

Arctic liquefied natural gas carrier, Boris Davydov capable of transporting up to 172,000 cubic meters of chilled fuel is bringing a Yamal LNG cargo.

The second vessel to dock on the same day is the 155,000-cbm Yenisei River. The vessel is owned by Dynagas LNG Partners, a limited partnership formed by the Greek shipowner Dynagas, operates under a 15-year charter for the Yamal LNG project, which indicates it is arriving at Zeebrugge for a reload or transshipment operation.

In 2015, the Fluxys-operated terminal was chosen by Novatek’s Yamal LNG as transshipment hub under a long-term deal. The original contract includes an annual transshipment of up to 107 LNG cargoes.

According to the shipping data, further three cargoes are to arrive at Zeebrugge LNG facility in May, all loaded at Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex. First of the three is being transported by the 155,000-cbm GasLog Salem with delivery scheduled for May 20.

The 177,000-cbm Shinshu Maru jointly owned by JERA and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) is scheduled to deliver its cargo to Zeebrugge on May 23 while the remaining cargo scheduled for delivery on May 25, onboard the 170.200-cbm Velikiy Novgorod.
